In the middle of the desert, in a small village called Sabha a small Bedouin House passionate, talented women named Um Khalil decided to support her family after her husband’s death and proof “Women Can Do It” by creating a small business “Dairy Products” fresh cheeses, Labneh and all milk production. And she made it.
When you visit Um Khalil you will experience how to make Dairy Products in your houses, in addition to that, you will have the chance to taste her amazing Mlehie “the Syrian Mansaf” and get to know how to make it.
Um Khalil's Project is supported by ACTED, an international French non-government organization, under the project “Providing Sustainable Work Opportunities to Refugees and Vulnerable Jordanians in the Agricultural Sector of Jordan”, with funding from the Bureau of Population, Refugee and Migrants – U.S. Department of State (BPRM). Through ACTED’s support. Um Khalil is now able to increase her productivity in her community and proof women can handle and raise a family emotionally and financially.
