At the heart of Bani Kenanah in Al Mzeireeb, Eman “Um Mohammad” and Feryal live in a charming home featuring spectacular views of the Jordanian landscape. In this tranquil environment, they host the “Khubz Al Basal” and “Aqras Al Eid” experiences, where you can participate in sustainable agricultural practices, including harvesting and planting local vegetables, right on their farm. At the end of the day, you will be treated with a home-made, authentic Jordanian Bedouin meal cooked by Eman and Feryal themselves.
Eman and Feryal’s farming business is supported by ACTED, an international French non-government organization, under the project “Providing Sustainable Work Opportunities to Refugees and Vulnerable Jordanians in the Agricultural Sector of Jordan”, with funding from the Bureau of Population, Refugee and Migrants – U.S. Department of State (BPRM). Through ACTED’s support, Eman and Feryal are able to increase their productivity in their community and proof women can handle and raise a family emotionally ad financially resulting in increased their income.
