The Ajloun Forest Reserve is located on the heights of Ajloun Governorate, north of Amman, and covers an area of approximately 13 km 2. It is surrounded by oak, pine, carob, wild strawberry and pistachio trees. These trees are important for the local population as a source of firewood and a beautiful landscape, often for therapeutic and food purposes.
