My tours all over Tunisia will take you to explore the splendor of ancient civilizations and add something unforgettable to your trip.This tour is a full day devoted to the discovery of the Berber heritage in the surroundings of Tunis.  We will immerse ourselves in the culture of these indigenous populations and explore their ways of life and traditions.  Our tour will start with the village of Zriba El Olia by taking the road linking Tunis to Zaghouan.  On arrival, we will take a tour of the old houses and discover their method of construction and their typical architecture.  We will also climb to the top of the promontory on which this village was founded for an exceptional panoramic view, and precisely to take some photos.  Then, we will take the road towards the village of Jradou.  We will see the central square and discover together the streets and buildings, and then visit a craftsman specialized in the manufacture of objects based on halfa (stipa tenacissima) which is precisely the most representative craft of this village.  Moreover, it is the essential activity in the region alongside agriculture.  Once we have finished we will head towards the old village of Takrouna.  On our way there will be the possibility of having lunch in a country house or a farm.  The village of Takrouna is built on a rock culminating at 200 meters above sea level with a breathtaking 360 degree view of the Gulf of Hammamet and Sousse to the east, Jebel Zaghouan to the north and  the plain of Kairouan to the south.  We will visit the small mosque in the neighborhood as well as the mausoleum.  There will also be the possibility of visiting the house of a local and discovering the architecture of this type of old house, in particular the different rooms and their furniture.  We will be offered to eat in this house the famous typical Tabouna bread made in the Gouja (traditional oven) served with olive oil, to finish with the tasting of a magnificent mint tea.  Our visit will end in the village café-museum with its extraordinary atmosphere.
