A chance for you to hike over the rolling hills of Umm Qais and get to connect with nature and learn about the history of the place. The ‘painted picture’ landscapes of Umm Qais and the diversity of its flora and fauna make hiking an exceptional experience.Guests meet with a local guide at Philodemus Hiking and Camping Shop, to decide on the best route for you. Our half-day hikes of 3-4 hours offer you the chance to really gain an appreciation for the surrounding environment.
