Tour Description

In this experience we will be tasting as many local dishes as we can within a 8 hours time frame, we will have a 3 hours walking period in between, to move from the place where food is being served in restaurants to the area where food is being served in homes or in festival area. We will start our tour in downtown, tasting Sahlab, Hommous, Kuftah with Tahiniah, Kunafa, Baqlawa and a mixed sweet platter. Then we will be moving to a local Jordanian home where we will have Mansaf, Maqlobah, Local home made sweets and Arabic coffee. This experience is designed to provide you with an overall perspective on what does Jordanians eat. Two to Three food stops, in between we will be walking for around two hours around down-town so we do not to feel guilty about the calories consumed. :) 10:00 - 10:30 Meeting opposite to Hashemite plaza, opposite to Roman Theater. 10:30 - 11:30 First Food Stop with a conversation around the history of Food in Jordan. 11:30 - 1:30 Walking Around Down Town with a Brief History around the area 1:30 - 2:00 Heading to a Jordanian Local Home 2:00 - 4:00 2nd Food Stop with a conversation around home made food. 4:00- 5:00 Walk 5:00 - 6:00 Final Food Stop.
